Executive Office Manager/Director
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an Executive Office manager/Director, you are responsible for the supervision of support staff/Information technology and communication personnel as well as for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans and programs are realized; supervision of administrative support personnel. Work includes participating in the management team, in collaboration with Dept. heads/Managers/Directors and the Tribal manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviewing and Implementing changes necessary and keeping current Wuikinuxv Nation’s compensation and benefits package/program
Updating and creating and revising job descriptions, in collaboration with Dept. managers/directors
Developing, analyzing, and implementing a salary grid, in collaboration with management team
Developing, analyzing and implementing and keeping current the personnel annual review/evaluation program, using profiling process
Reviewing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures
Establishing, maintaining and updating the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
Developing benefits administration process
Ensures the maintenance of affirmative action programs , especially professional and personal development and personnel training needs, incorporating profiling instruments
Developing recruitment strategies for all personnel, including process for writing and placing job ads, in collaboration with specific Dept heads/managers
Developing new employee orientations process and employee relations counseling
Developing exit interview process
Reviewing and updating department and personnel records and reports
Participating in administrative staff meetings
Developing and Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures
Supervision of office support staff/Information Technology/communication personnel
Monthly summary report for Tribal manager and when required presentations to Chief and Council
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Possess excellent decision-making, strategic thinking, leadership, interpersonal, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and ethical conduct skills, as well as healthy lifestyle choices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum is a Bachelor Administration (BBA) with concentration in one of Human Resources, Organizational Behavior or Management and Leadership with several years of experience in Office Management and Human Resource management.
The position reports to the Tribal Manager.
The Salary is Negotiable.
