The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) funds a network of residential treatment centres across BC, offering culturally grounded programs for adults, youth, and families. Services vary by location and include individual and family counselling, cultural ceremonies, trauma-informed care, and support for concurrent mental health concerns.

Support for substance use and mental health is available — wherever you are. The First Nations Virtual Substance Use and Psychiatry Service connects First Nations people and their families in BC with specialists in addictions medicine and psychiatry, as well as mental health and allied health professionals. The service is trauma-informed, culturally safe, and available at no cost.

You are not alone. If you or someone you know needs immediate emotional support, these 24-hour helplines are here for you — any time of day or night, in a moment of crisis or simply when you need someone to talk to.
