A message from Pamela Johnson
Hello everyone,
I would like to introduce myself in my role as the Child & Family Services (CFS) Coordinator for our community.
My role is to support children, youth, and families by helping them access the services and supports they need. This includes assisting families with important paperwork such as birth certificates, government ID, Status cards, and other documents that are often required for health care, school, travel, and benefits. I help families fill out applications, gather documents, submit forms, and follow up with agencies when there are delays or challenges.
I also help families connect to supports such as Jordan’s Principle services, assessments, therapies, and family supports, and I work to advocate for equitable access to services, especially given the challenges of living in a remote community. My approach is family-centered and relationship-based, and I aim to walk alongside families, listen, and help reduce barriers wherever possible.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and support our children and families. Please feel free to reach out if you need support, have questions, or want to connect.
With respect,
Pamela Johnson
Child & Family Services Coordinator
